Jong-woo goes through disgraceful experiences upon arriving in Seoul. He visits various dorms, but they are all too expensive for Jong-woo khổng lồ manage… Meanwhile, Soh Jeong-hwa, a police officer, is sent lớn a scene after receiving a report that a body of a dead mèo has been found, và is suspicious of the connection related to lớn a past case.
Jong-woo senses some strange air flowing between the housemates after the appearance of Yoo Ki-hyuk. Jong-woo feels uncomfortable dealing with Yoo Ki-hyuk, the Room 302 tenant who shows excessive interest in him, và is angered at his senior Park Byoung-min's attitude.
Jong-woo meets the man living next door, Suh Moon-Joh, in the roof top & relaxes as he thinks that he and Moon-Joh have a lot of similarities. Meanwhile, Soh Jeong-hwa learns an unexpected fact as she talks with the wife of the missing foreign worker và her suspicions of Room 306 tenant Byun Deok-jong increases.
Feeling uncomfortable at Suh Moon-Joh's weird joke, Jong-woo hurridely leaves while drinking beer together. Jong-woo starts to feel more anxious as the Room 310 tenant Ahn Hee-joong và Room tenant 302 Yoo Ki-hyuk suddenly disappears & room tenant 313 Hong Nam-book threatens Jong-woo with a knife.

Jong-woo finds that his máy tính was turned on and thinks that someone has entered his room. As he searches the sercurity camera, he find suspicious activities from Hong Nam-bok, leading him khổng lồ go find him & questions him harshly. Suh Moon-joh calls Jong-woo separately và gives him advice, but Jong-woo feels a strange of alienation from Suh Moon-jo.
Jong-woo hurridely goes to lớn the Sharehouse with Soh Jeong-hwa after receiving a điện thoại tư vấn that his girlfriend, Min Ji-eun has arrived at the Sharehouse. However, Min Ji-eun feels frustration from Jong-woo's attitude and the situation that stops her. Next morning, Jong-woo hears a weird story from Suh Moon-joh.
Jong-woo meets the new tenant, Seok-yoon, & becomes friends with him in a short amount of time. They go watch buskings together. Jong-woo talks about the strange things that have been happening at the Sharehouse & Seok-yoon believes his words. Meanwhile, Soh Joeng-hwa hears a surprising story from Suh Moon-joh as she visits his dentist.
Jong-woo faces trouble as he assaulted students that he faced conflicts with at the PC room. Suh Moon-joh helps Jong-woo but Jong-woo feels afraid as he thinks that Suh Moon-joh's kindess is imprisoning him.
Jong-woo hurts Min Ji-eun while suffering from hallucinations, and Ji-eun leaves Jong-woo stating that she is afraid of Jong-woo. Lost with no place to go, Jong-woo wawnders around the streets when he hears a shocking news, that his company's CEO Shin Jae-ho has died. Jong-woo, who visited khổng lồ Jae-ho's funeral, suffers from severe guilt.
Jong-woo arrives at the Sharehouse with his military junior Chang-hyun, who he met unexpectedly. Before going into the Sharehouse, Jong-woo calls Soh Jeong-hwa, & Soh Jeong-hwa hurridely heads toward the Sharehouse khổng lồ save Jong-woo. Having no place lớn retreat anymore, Jong-woo begins his final battle with the Sharehouse tenants including Suh Moon-jo. Will Jong-woo make it out alive?

Unpredictable & totally unexpected. It has proved my expectation completely wrong. Apparently many viewers would guess everything wrong from the very beginning & could base their judgement on mere heinous homicides committed by some callous serial murderers; however, it is beyond some grotesque serial murder cases.The psychological aspect of the drama would hit anyone harder though there will be many questions which would be left unanswered as there are considerable number of loopholes in the story. Chill ran down my spine when the last scene was shown. Many things became clear like crystal.This drama lớn my view is loosely based on the insecurity or complexities of a human mind depicted on the novel, The Metamorphosis written by Franz Kafka. After I studied a little about the pshycoanalysis of it many things got even clearer. Firstly, a human behavior is largely dependent on their surroundings. Everyone has both sides - good and evil. Depending on the situation & the outside elements of the surrounding environment where a person constantly comes in contact, provokes him/her to lớn act in a certain way which might lead khổng lồ cognitive dissonance if being exposed to too much negativity for a longer time. In many cases they fail to lớn understand why they are acting in a certain way they are acting or it ignites certain personalities in a human which was always hidden or his/her consciousness doesn’t allow them to express or reveal it. They cannot keep it hidden when faced with certain circumstances. Secondly, different neurotic aspects such as anxiety, paranoia, schizophrenia which all sprouted from poverty, low income, low social status, unemployment and dissatisfactory life would also result a person become gradually hysteric or cynical. They would create a nuisance with simple issue which in the first place was never a grave issue khổng lồ begin with. We all go through many phases in life where we think diabolically và imagine some gruesome thing to happen to lớn the thing or person we abominate the most. Nevertheless we refrain from conducting such behavior due to lớn our conscience. But what if we thua our self control or conscientiousness? Are we going to lớn change into a devil then? “Strangers from Hell” is the literal portrayal of our intense inner negative thoughts.The story might be unrealistic yet the caliginous psychological aspect is the reality within us which mostly goes unspoken. Human beings are the scariest – that was the main theme. Our mind always get stuck in the fact that some invisible being would scare the soul out of us but how dangerous human can be we forget many a times. No wonder the insanely eerie expressions and feeling every character of the studio exuded was utterly frightening.The casts are in one word p H E N O M E N A L. Im đắm say Wan has done a tremendous job as if he has a Phd on acting. The way he walked, eat, breathe, his facial expression in every incident, in every encounter with his costars, his spooky laughter, each and every little act was beyond perfection. He deserves a best actor award in this year. His performance was above effortless & natural. The OSTs are also excellent. All of them displayed the right mood phối by the story. I wanted lớn rate it 9.5 but I won’t because there are few terrible loopholes which weakens the story in certain part.All in all it is spectacular. Watch till the end. You would not regret.
